2017 Camp Akili Fellows Application
The Akili Fellowship Program is a three-month intensive program of Flourish Agenda, designed for individuals interested in formal training in the principles and practices of the Radical Healing model created by Dr. Shawn Ginwright. This model encompasses the concepts of transformative youth development, social justice principles, personal healing, and cultural transformation.
Akili Fellows will receive approximately 40 hours of training on the Radical Healing model. Upon successful completion of the training, select Akili Fellows will receive an additional 60 hours of applied experience working at Camp Akili as Village Leaders.
Akili Fellows play a variety of roles during their applied experience working at Camp Akili. These roles include, but are not limited to, serving as Village Leaders, Support Staff, and /or Workshop Presenters. All Fellows must be over 21. To apply please complete and submit application. Applications are due by April 10th. All applicants will be notified by April 20th, of acceptance into the program.
