2017 Camp Akili Registration

Camp Akili is a five-day residential, personal development and leadership summer camp for African American youth ages 14-18. The camp takes place in a tranquil retreat-like setting, providing a space for reflection and community building. Serving youth for over 25 years, Camp Akili sparks critical thinking, fosters personal transformation, strengthens cultural appreciation and encourages social action. During the five-day experience, youth will receive guidance from trained volunteers and a paid professional staff for a fun-filled, life-enhancing camp experience. Dates: July 31st-August 4th, 2017
To reserve space: a $50 non-refundable deposit is required
Registration fee: $500 (limited scholarships are available)

Room and board: Youth will reside in gender separate campus dorms. All food is provided.
