Every Young Person Deserves to Flourish
At Flourish Agenda, we believe healing—both personal and collective—is how communities thrive. For over 30 years, we’ve been on a mission to transform how schools, organizations, and communities work with young people of color by creating cultures rooted in healing, justice, and love.
We are a national nonprofit consulting firm that partners with youth-serving institutions to build and implement strategies that allow young people to flourish. Our work goes beyond addressing symptoms; we transform the adults and systems that shape young lives.

How We Work
Our approach is grounded in Healing Centered Engagement™—a transformative framework that goes beyond trauma-informed care to create cultures of healing, justice, and love. We partner with organizations through a four-step process:
Discovering your unique context and challenges
Designing customized healing-centered strategies
Engaging your team in intensive transformation experiences
And measuring impact while building sustainability
This isn’t just training—it’s organizational transformation that creates lasting change in how adults work with young people.
The Faces Behind the Movement
We are educators, researchers, healers, and change-makers united by a shared belief that every young person deserves to flourish. Meet the team that’s been transforming communities with a healing-centered framework in mind.

Research & Publications
In 2025, Flourish Agenda completed a multi-year study with the American Institutes for Research evaluating our Healing Centered Engagement Certification and Akili Camps programming. The model refinement and observed outcomes from that work were compiled in our newly published report: “Refining Outcomes for Flourish Agenda’s Healing Centered Engagement Training and Akili Camp”.
Representation Matters
We are proud to be a POC-led organization that centers the voices, experiences, and wisdom of communities of color. Our team and advisory board reflect the diversity of the communities we serve, ensuring authentic and culturally grounded approaches to our work.
